China Customs data shows that the total number of fastener exports in 2023 will be approximately 4.98 million tons (4,978,819 tons), an increase of 0.7% compared to 2022.
The total amount is approximately US$11.1 billion (US$11,105,303,224), a decrease of approximately 16.8% compared to US$13.3 billion in 2022.
The export unit price per ton of fasteners has dropped by approximately 17.5% compared to 2022. The main reason for the decline in unit prices is the overall decline in exports of high-end, high-priced fasteners to Europe and the United States.
