How To Prevent Damage To Anchor Bolts
Jul 11, 2022
Precautions: During transportation, loading and unloading, the anchor bolts should be protected from damage to the threads. After using industrial petroleum jelly, it should be wrapped in plastic wrap to prevent thread damage and rust. It should be stored separately and must not be mixed with other parts and components so as not to damage the threads.
After the anchor bolt is buried, it shall not be used as a bending fulcrum or a zero-adjusting line of an electric welding machine, nor shall it be used as a binding point for tension. When lifting the assembly, it should be done correctly to prevent the horizontal side impact force from damaging the thread, the thread of the steel structure set screw bolt has been damaged. The following treatments are available: Available steel is available when the thread length is not damaged.
Trim the thread until it is successfully screwed into the nut. If the thread length of the native anchor bolt is greater than the specified effective length, gas cutting can be used to cut the length of the original thread portion; otherwise, follow the steps below. One end is then threaded using the same material and gauge material as the original bolt.
Then, the butt end is processed into a head cross section of 30°-45°. After the butt and the lower end are butted, the steel sleeve of the corresponding diameter and length is inserted into the joint for welding reinforcement. After the shell is strengthened and reinforced, the diameter of the bolt is larger than that of the base plate, and the diameter of the base plate of the column can be appropriately increased.
